The Bemidji Show Choirs, La Voce Ballo and Vocalmotive, had a banner weekend at the Waconia Star Power Competition, bringing home eight trophies. La Voce Ballo won first place in its section and fourth place overall. Vocalmotive won Grand Champion, Best Male Vocal, Best Band, Best Vocal Ensemble, Best Choreography and Best Tech Crew.
